Saw The Hobbit last night.
Saw it tonight. better than the book I'd disagree with that but then I really liked the book. The film is still quite excellent. The dwarves song about going to the mountain is still stuck in my head. |

Today I found out that I am now having 31 days off for Christmas
Today was a good day

Last day at work tomorrow complete with company with work do (I made a song about it, it just consists of me saying "WORK WORK WORK DO DO DO DO DOOOOoooOOOooO! and repeat)

Well that's a bit overkill. Meh can't even make myself laugh. One of our cats is very sick and the chances are he is going to die in the next week or so. Had to take him to a doc on new years eve, so the year started pretty shitty. Basically he won't eat anything and his liver is pretty much screwed now. The doc wasn't able to determine what problem came first or what the reason for all of this is. |

That's bad Power, shit always seems to happen at new year.
I suppose I better make things a bit clearer now I have most of the story. My niece who's 25, a single mum and in her final year training as a midwife rents a flat off the asshole who pretty much since she moved in has harassed her and failed to do repairs, the council haven't helped screwing up her housing benefit every time she reapplies.
My mum in law stood as guarantor for my niece and yesterday asshole dropped a letter in to her asking for this months rent or my niece is out on her ass. They went round his house had a bit of an argument which ended in my mum in law calling him a bully, a coward and no man and he pushes her, she being pretty frail goes down hits her head and (we think) is knocked out. My father in law punches this guy at least once and we think he also ends up on the floor but we are not sure how much of a fight these two have had.
They then go down to the hospital, my mum in law gets sorted (2 paracetamol and told to rest) and whilst there they inquire about my wife's aunt (mum in law's first husband's sister) who was in with cancer and find she has just died. My wife gets called, she calls the police and everyone turns up at our house where we had a new years party planned.
Apparently asshole is going to be questioned under caution soon.

Update to Assholegate, turns out father in law punched asshole in stomach then fell off step before he could really lay into asshole
Asshole has had a police caution which is as good a result as it was realistically likely to get given it's one persons word against another with no witnesses

Oh, in regards to the wild job hunt, still nothing. Although I got a ring from a recruitment agency yesterday, assuming they got my details off one of the job vacancy sites, basically asking what I'm looking for etc. Then told me to fill out an application form n shit. I dunno why, but the whole thing just feels suspicious to me
