You can't really say "Oh, PCs have gotten faster and the consoles have stayed the same" maybe if you were dealing with a game released near the start of the console cycle then it would make sense, but although the raw speed of the consoles stay the same, as the cycle progresses devs get more comfortable with the hardware and learn more tweaks to get the most out of it. If anything this makes porting harder. Dark souls is actually a pretty taxing game, massive draw distances and no loading.

Yeah I can see the problems with the way the game handles loadingtimes. From what Ive seen it has flawless transitions when you enter through a portal to a bossfight who is basically on a whole other place.

mmm yeah there's no loading, but when you walk through a fog door it's not teleporting you to another place. The fog door is just a gating mechanism. Once the boss is killed you can walk through them at any time. It's not like a deadspace door unlock.

Pretty wise. Especially if the pre order price is £30. If it was nearer to £20 I might take the hit, but a full price pre order is just stupidity.

Heard the graphics are a bit better/lesss low down, I only have xbox on some weekends and want to be able to play it all da time, don't have xbox gold so never played with any online features.
Honestly it's just a wicked game and I hope the next one comes out on pc.
