Well, it really depends on the kind of game you like. Halo / Gears of War are beloved Xbox exclusives for example.

Xbox has all the good multiplayer exclusives like Halo, Gears of War, Forza etc.
But PS3 is more for people who LOVE games. You get Shadow of the Colossus HD, Ico, Flower, Journey, MGS4, Heavy Rain etc.
In retrospect I would rather go for the PS3 but it was just too expensive back then (399€ just for the system what).

If the framerate is as bad as it is on consoles, it'll still be a great game, but when I get told something like this I just assume the whole game is going to suck pretty badly.
If it sucks on PC, you still have no excuse abda, you have an eksboks.

Gonna make a deep action-rpg game about nerd shoes with gothic fantasy overtones. Gonna call it DORK SOLES.
I'm going to buy it w/e happens because I want more of this kind of game to come to PC. There is a side of me that has deep love for hardcore japanese console games and that part of me will NEVA DIE.

I dunno they are saying they aren't optimising the framerate issues the console versions had but consoles are ancient shit pieces of hardware, unless you've got a pc as old as an xbox probably won't be too bad. And they are putting in keyboard and mouse, they just said it will be shit and you should use an xbox controller which is fine, don't see why you'd play this with keyboard if you have an xbox controller.
Only shit thing is GFWL but meh, I already have to deal with it being shit in batman and stuff so it won't completely ruin the game.

I think there is still a chance of bad stuttering because the port is coming over from PS3, which is much different to a PC and console conversions to PC always seem to come with horrible performance. But yeah, basically if the stuttering is as bad as PS3/xbox then it's still GOTY.
Would have been nice if they'd got it running smooth though.

I think they are just covering their asses and it will run bad if you don't have a decent gaming rig but meh we all have decent gaming rigs right?

I can play Max Payne3 at full settings (except AA being on 4x) at 45-60FPS, skyrim at a constant 50-60 with full settings and the HD texture pack and a bunch of mods, both at 1920*1200 but GTA IV still runs like shit on my PC and doesn't look anywhere near as good. |

well gta4 only has console textures so it will always look like poo, surprised to hear its still giving framerate problems though.

It's not uncommon to have better performance on Saints Row 3 than on 2, despite 3 looking worlds better.
Shitty ports can make a lot of difference.
