I've applied to my local "Geek Squad".  Only 16K/year and It sounds pretty tech support based (which i'm actually ok with face to face, just hate doing over the phone), but should tide me over for a few months until I can find a proper Net/Sysadmin job.

Now I've just got to get it, tricky as there's around 50 apps for every IT job around here.
