Don't have backup issues since I own and operate a business network that runs Citrix from 2 x secure and backed up servers. I have run raid 0 on my last two gaming machines using raptors.
Waste of money. If you're Chaos, the millisecond performance improvement will be staggeringly impressive (no offence Chaos), but if you're human, open another beer can.
Two don'ts for the normal gamer. 1) Don't waste your money on twin vid cards (unless you insist on greater than 1920 x 1200 res) 2) Don't waste your money on Raid.

Looks like a balmy card that one. Has it's addition to the draw boosted the data throughput of your draw?

Anyone had any experience with the new solid state hard drives, they are meant to be good.

I find myself stark naked except for a pair of latex gloves attempting to pull on a pair of red tights on in my parent's spare bedroom.

I had a play with one of the OCZ core v1s... I tested it against a VelociRaptor and found very little difference The Samsung and Intel ones on the other hand hare extremely quick.. and this is the first mainstream attempt at SSDs for the market which is good IMO, good sign of things to come, but not yet, not untill its a lot cheaper.

Started the build last night at about 9, got everything in place but midnight (I was being uber careful, it took me 20 mins to work up the courage to open the mobo bag, static is scary!!). Couldn't be bothered to wire it last night (plus Chaos went to bed........) and have a work thing to go to tonight, so I'll probably get it sorted for Saturday night. More to follow!

I should be alright, the online manual has ALOT more information then the crappy one that actually came in the box! Plus printing a 149 page manual in colour is one of my little revenges for the bastards taking my job away!
