None of the scripts broke for me, but then again I never tried to. I tried to enjoy a mediocre singleplayer and that worked for me.

yup simple and short sp was shit.

i also had the extra walk up through the floor as if they were stairs. can we please get all QTE's banned please? PLEASE?! nothing breaks the action up more for me then that! If you are gonna stop me and show me a short scripted event just do it then let me carry on playing the damn game then pressing a button when you randomly decide to!

anyway mp is next for me which I am sure will be 1 million times better.

ps. on the big battlefield there was a point where i rushed ahead of the frontline and planted myself in the line where the enemy was supposed to use as cover... well the tank runs in behind me which the script tells you to kill but i just hid with the rest of the enemy who happily ignored me as they ran up to me until they were next to me and started shooting then! i ended up using every bit of ammo on the lame ducks as they kept spawning! i probably had 100+ kills before i used all my ammo up and i ran back and got killed by the tank doing so heh.

Completed SP, was pretty much what I was expecting. A bug here and there but tbh, it entertained me, therefore I say I enjoyed it.

Starting with the MP, one thing that is fucking me off a treat is jets, or at least the fact there's fuck all you can do when you first start off as you dont have flares unlocked, so you're just an easy kill for any AA gun, stinger or jet/chopper equiped with anti air rockets =/  but to get the flares you have to get a certain amount of points, gained through kills for the most part, but it's pretty tough to get a kill when you're spending half your time trying to avoid missile locks -.-

Other thoughts:

Commo Rose is in but worthless. You still can't flag yourself as needing health or ammo without clicking on a medic or support class. All you can do is say stupid things like GOGOGO or NEGATIVE. Waste of time.

Co-Op is.. OK. Some missions better than others. I enjoyed the helicopter and sniper missions as they needed teamplay, even if it was just designating targets and synchronising our shots, but the others were just a bit.. like the single player. May as well have not actually been playing with Disco, no actual teamplay required other than "shoot the mens" and sometimes help each other up. The bit where one of us had to disarm the bomb whilst the other held the enemy off was OK, but most of the time it's just "go to this waypoint, wait for Disco" which isn't very interesting. The scoring system also seems bankrupt. What do you actually get points for? Is it just headshots? As the maps have a finite number of enemies it's sort of stupid. On both the "stealth" missions we ended up raisig the alarm and it didn't seem to matter much. Doubt I'll play them enough to unlock the G3.

As an aside, have they removed the anti vehicle ammo for the M320? Haven't seen anything about it anymore.

The m320 has grenade shells, buckshots and smoke now.

Mama, the easiest way to get the flares is suiciding into tanks or groups of enemies for now.

As for coop: I still cant get enough of "Hit and Run". Such a cool mission and the music and dark setting really adds up.

About the scoring system: It gives you more points if you spot a guy and your friend takes him out. It also seems to give more points if you use shitguns. Weve been doing a pistols only playthrough and broke our previous record.

Ended up playing a bit more last night, and unlocked flares. Though still getting beasted by other pilots, I generally can get behind people and stay on their tail as they try to dodge, but for the life of me I cant hit them, even when I think Im shooting right at them or whatever. Ah well

yeah, I'm using my 360 controller and it's still crazy, annoying thing is that i've gotten solid hits on enemy jets and helos, but the machine guns just don't do enough damage - by the time i've come around for another run and found them again (what is the Q equivilent on a gamepad btw?) they've regenerated.

Sat down about 10 thinking ill have a good hour or two game on multiplayer, when origin decided that I had not installed bf3 and refused to work. In the end I had to install to my ssd and then copy all the files across to my games hdd, took nearly 2 hours though so just had a quick 10 minutes to play grrrrrr.....

How's the performance for everyone?  I was expecting it be a dog but its a pretty solid 55-60fps on ultra at 1080.

Graphical performance is great on my PC. Haven't touched any settings and it looks very good. (560ti, 2500k) Though I have noticed that if you open the origin overlay web browser you get FPS drops. Network performance... I've seen some lag boy... I've seen some lag.

Maybe Cruel has the recording of my ranting about the fact that it takes so long to get onto a server when you only have an hour or so to play.
