I'd normally not sign for it if the box was that broken tbh - refuse to accept goods if the courier has dicked around with it. Your call, look at the state of the inner packaging before making your call, and inspect the card thoroughly before fitting it.

a) I didn't sign for it, it was signed in at the post room at work and b) It was in one of those plastic bag thingies so you couldn't see the dent in the box anyway.
Will have a closer inspection when I get home...

Just fitted the card, had it working fine, installed CCC, restarted 4-5 times without problems, packed everything back up into the case and now the PC won't fucking post, everything powers up but I get no beeps and no signal to my monitor...
Tried resetting CMOS, reseating the video card in both slots and just removed the mobo battery and will leave it for a couple of hours before trying again. Will try reseating the RAM then and trying the old card too. Any other ideas?

It doesn't post?
Did you jerk the motherboard around?

I reckon it could be power related tbh, but always worth re-seating the card in the PCI-Express socket. If you have more than one PCIE socket, check you're using the RIGHT one (there is often a slower slot out of two). Installing into the wrong socket can also cause a failure to POST (had this ages ago with an old NVidia card in the slow PCI-E slot).
If you have any 4-pin molex to 6-pin graphics card power adapters, use them to see if you can get the PC to POST without using the existing 6-pin power cables on the GFX card.
I also wouldn't underestimate the "slight knock" the goods received from the courier. My first step would be to re-test the old GFX card and confirm no damage to any existing components.

Mine arrived today and I've just finished installing it. No problems so far but haven't tested it in-game yet.

The no beeping/posting issue can be RAM related, take it all out and try individual sticks - or ideally borrow some that definitely work. That was what happened with my HTPC a few weeks ago, was happy for ages with no blue-screens or hint of a problem and then suddenly wouldn't post at all. As soon as the dodgy stick was taken out it worked just fine on the remaining one.

Got it to post now, but after clearing the CMOS it just sits on the mobo flash screen; says press del for setup but doesn't respond, I've tried PS2 and USB keyboards and nothing either time :/

Need to get Becca a graphics card but I'm hoping to not spend too much money. Her PC only has an Intel E5400 so it's not too snazzy. Hoping to spend as little as possible but still able to run TF2 and a couple other games.
Also sorry for topic stealing Hzza.
