well today was fun, had a power cut this morning as the electricity board is doing work and needed to turn off the power for the whole area and forgot to tell us. then when the power came back on my PC didn't. seems the psu is fried but i can't really afford to replace the stupid small form factor one that a shuttle case needs. happy days

They havn't, I rang the helpline it did an automated test and found a fault, the bt sales woman swore there was no need for an engineer on monday. So yeah it said theyd text me to update me but i dont know my new mobile number which i was calling from, these stupid automated systems need an option like press 1 to use the number you are calling from. Anyway so i have no idea whats going on, i will have to ring back tonight and try to find out how to talk to a person about my fault and also give them my mobile number. |

Bummer, Shuttle PSU's are really expensive too. I'm never buying another one, got burnt when my old one died out of warranty, Managed to source a new PSU for 80 quid, only to find that it must have been the motherboard at fault. And they don't sell replacements. 300 quid down the drain and a load of hassle getting rid of the second PSU. Now I use a Sugo SG-03, Still a compact case I can carry under one arm but it takes standard micro-atx mobo and full size PSUs. Sent from my Android phone via Tapatalk |
