Maree (aka Mrs Bystander) spent the day in hospital due to a serious throat infection. She has now been transferred to a not so local hospital and is in ITU with a tube down her throat. The doctor was quite relaxed when she said she'd put her under for 2 days to give the antibiotics a chance to work.
Plus, since when did they start making 13 year olds doctors too.

Sounds serious but 13 year old doctors probably know what they're doing best. They're the only ones who can work internet anyway. Hope it works out OK Millicent.

She's still under but her throat is showing signs of improvement, they are hoping to bring her round about 11am tomorrow.

Maree's still out, hopefully they'll bring her round tomorrow (Sun). They are saying she will be in for a week afterwards too.
Looks like I'm going to need a weeks compassionate leave.
