Today was one of those days when I was really glad work has very effective air con and wish my car had it too.
Beginning to think we need a bigger car than the Zafira too.
Plus we are getting a kitten!

Today has been a nice chilled Sunday. A day off is always nice. And with a slight breeze and another hot sunny day, I suppressed my phobia of insects and threw open the windows. So all in all a good day. Got the domestic chores out of the way. Played a couple of games. And finally got around to doing some writing. Starting a story is always the hardest part I find. Once you've got going, it kind of gets some momentum. And in an attempt to get it to rain, and there by cool down, I have resorted to wearing shorts. So expect a torrential down pour in the Gloucester area within the next 24 hours hopefully |

Had a superb day down the beach yesterday (in October!!!!) ... made castles with the kids and my nephew. Although the tide was out, managed to dig deep enough to fill the hole and make a paddling pool. Was great fun. Today is James' birthday  lots of fun playing with his new toys and putting stuff together. Having the day off also meant I walked my daughter to school for the first time in ages... Junta is happy. |
