A good start to the year.

Work was straight forward and non-taxing. Which is a good thing. Odd though. In bed befor midnight on new years eve. Feel some what resentfull. But nevermind.

bah, got some kind of weird jaw problem, I can't close it properly - lots of tightness and pain on the right side near the joint when I try.
I've not done anything to it that I can recall, just woke up like this. Barely even noticed until I tried to eat something and realised I couldn't chew.

I get that once in a blue moon too. I'd wager at one point in you life you've enjoyed a good yaun and over stretched. Thus making a tiny little hollow at the back of the jaw socket. Now some nasty little viruses have come along looking for prime realestate locations in the sinus, and they've discoverd this little jaw socket cul-de-sac.

A vicious little methord to evict them is to take some pain killers of choice. Then about 1 to 2 hours later, prepair a hot flannel. Then lie on your side with the hot flannel pressed into the jaw socket near the ear. Give it 5 minuets for the heat to seap in. Then gradualy bite down hard. Force your jaw to close properly. Keep your jaw tight for 10 to 20 seconds and then let your jaw go loose. Repeat this 4 or 5 more times. You may find that something feels like it's leaking out of your ear. Or you may even get a foul taste in your mouth near your wisdom teeth. Try not to panic. You shoudl find that keeping dosed on pain killers, and clentching your jaw every hour or two, should ease up the pain and get your jaw feeling more like normal after a while.

However, don't listen to me for a second. Just because it's a new year doens't mean I'm any more sencible. Just because I was semi-grown up and went to bed as normal on new years eve, doesn't mean that I'm now a mature member of society. I was walking the streets last night, giggeling like I was touched in the head muttering "oooood". If your jaw doesn't ease up in 2 days with the aid of a hot compress and over the counter pain killers, then see a doctor.

Excellent news Glad to hear your feeling better.

Today has been fun. A day off. So how did I spend it? Well, I went up into Granma's loft and played a game of "hunt the television ariel wire". This is a fun game. Especially when there are two ariels in the loft. Thankfully some one had labled them to indicate which is which. Top flat & bottom flat. Then there was just the issue of to why the hell there were more wires up there than ariels. And why were some of them weren't plugged in to anything? Turnes out that there was one to the living room, and one for each of the bedrooms. Then the big question as to why the cable had been joined in so many places. So the ariel was linked to a plug, then went to another plug, that then went to a chox block, that then went to a plug, then to a female to female plug, to another plug. So after a while messing about and removing connections, making better connections and playing with the loft insulation and finding all these damm connections and messing around with a multi-meter and a paper clip, I eventually had a decent cable run. For extra brownie points I also changed the ariel for a digital compliant one.

The end result is that the new free view box with built in hard drive is now able to tune in to more than a dozen channels.

Monday becons, so it's time to go back to work. Already have three jobs lined up.

Today I paid £25 so I could be shouted at by a dentist about smoking.

On the way back I decided to change the sat-nav voice to a comical Irish one. Whilst doing 50mph, the voice said "In a bit, turn left". IN A BIT!? As a result, I almost missed my turning, had to break really hard, skidded wildly out of control and after avoiding a land rover who had stopped span 90 degrees on the wrong side of the road into the road I was aiming for.

Despite all that, it was FUCKING AWESOME and the most fun I'll have all day unless I dominate 7 people on the pub server again tonight.

Comical Irish voice has since been rage deleted.

Yesterday I spent 4 hours at the doctors. We made some tests to check how my body reacts on sugar. So I gave them 1 liter of blood (felt like that..). Bloodsugar is okay but we also have to check the insulin. Have to wait for the test results until 31.1.
Then he told me that the blood results he got in december showed that I got a bad "hypothyroidism" (?) so I need to take drugs (the "healthy" kind) every morning. Wish me luck that they will help me losing weight

There's some wanker who always parks his car in our space and today he parked it in such a way that we couldn't get into the space next to it. Meaning I scraped my car trying to get into the smallest space in the world between the fence and a pillar
