Seems OK except the damage reduction... Hopefully it'll get nerfed like the Demoman's targe. Though I'm used to taking out sentries that have engineers repairing them, whilst this won't be possible to repair.

Remember every other update where everything was op/useless for a couple of weeks until they got the balance sorted? This will be the same.
I will, as usual get the achievements the day after they are nerfed.

I do like the manual aim, it's what I've been after all along (and what I predicted).  No more shooting ubers, I can aim at the poor undefended saps running in behind them.

Because you cannot repair your SG while your remoting it Wink

EDIT: Just to add if you switch back to wrench to repair it, it then stops firing for 3 seconds.....

Whilst the remote is good fun its main use will come in when solly or demos are peeking around a corner and damaging sg whilst just out of view of autoaim.. this means you can now manually get the sg to shoot at them Wink

Hzza hes basically admitted to identifying the the drop windows and then getting lucky but hes also leaked this info to his steam friends 3 of them it seems now have wrenches. There is a lot of ignorance in the steam forums like ololol you can't design a truely random system, yes you can but its not. And people assuming balanced for time zones means drops in certain areas of the world not equally distributed across 24 hours. But basically to ensure time zone fairness and one post a day there are approximately 25 drops a day in set time periods, drops are totally random within the window up to a certain point of it becoming superlikely you get the wrench (so if you craft in a window noone else crafts in you win). The windows are also random throughout the 24 hours but deterministically so, enough that DF has found the pattern. Wrenches 36,56,58 are steam friends but noones mentioned if they were before all this but i'ma look at their drop times and maybe try to plot the windows later today.

Doomwolf has posted the drop times of all the first 25 wrenches on NuB site....  Grts if you work this out but is it worth all that effort??
