Oh dear. This is making me feel guilty now. I must confess, that although I do have one of the mousemats as pictured, I actually don't always use it if it's not convenient or comfortable for where I am especially if I'm in the front room; I use the sofa cushion instead  |

Occasional use without a mouse-mat is fine - for me it's more that it ruins my desk if I don't use a mouse mat. My desk at home has lost all the laminate where I've been using my mouse so it looks crap.
I guess it might also not be good for the pads on the mouse etc. ?

Well my mouse has never complained I suppose it is no different from a fabric mat like what Tommy was after. Though I was too embarrassed to admit what I sometimes used when talking to the mouse salesman at i43 |
