I've used a Copperhead since it came out. Love the feel. To be honest, haven't run the software install for a couple of machines and couldn't tell you what res it's running. Starting to smell now - when it gets too bad I'll doubtless get the latest Razer.

It's always been the bane (sp?) of my life that there is all this cool gaming / mousing type stuff available but none of it is any good to me because i'm left handed...hence I have to have a symmetrical mouse and it doesn't help either that I use my mouse in my left hand but use my index finger to click the left mouse button (if that makes sense?)

I use a logitech LX 710 desktop, with a nice symmetrical laser mouse Smiley

I had an MX1000 b4 I changed to the G9. A worthy replacement, easily as comfortable as the MX1K but u'll need max weight to get the same feel of resistance.

deadly, the Razer mouse I have is universal (nice touch) so its for lefties and righties!
I find it really comfortable once i realised that i can move my hand back a little rather than having it right at the edge as i was used to!
Id say try one out if you can (buy one from amazon then send it back if you hate it) and youll love it!

just because something was invented first doesnt mean its best... do you drive a steam powered car???
the wasd key arrangement is a lot more convienient for gamers as you have lots of keys at your fingertips meaning you dont have to faff around looking for the right key if its not in the area of the arrows lol
but each to their own...

I never said my key layout was better, but it doesn't make me a non-gamer lol

Just because something is old does not make it wrong, slower or necessarily worse. I don't have a flashy keyboard or mouse, yet my reactions seem to be enough to ensure 1.50 KPD and a reasonable success rate in swinging a heavy around in maps Smiley

As an experiment, shall we do a separate post with the following details?

1) Player name
2) Prefered key layout - WASD or Arrows
3) Rank and KPD (as reported by HLStatsX)

I'd be interested in seeing if the best players use WASD or not?
