Saves lugging a mouse and keyboard into the living room if you want to play Civ 5 on your TV, I guess.
More fearful for the price, would be surprised if it clocks in at less than £60 or so.

Can you play civ five on a TV though? Some games don't play nicely with low res interfaces due to the amount of text.

Not as much as a shooter. Potentially they could add a little autoaim/snapon to the next target creep/hero.
I played LoL on my netbook with touchpad before. It was hard, but its not impossible.

Full HD TVs are getting pretty common/cheap these days - you're right though, I wouldn't want to game on anything less than that. I'm also a bit wary of the new controller - I like the fact it's a radical change in controllers as there's nothing else out there really like it but I really don't see how it could replace a mouse keyboard except in games that already (or could) have console support and have been modified as such. I just don't think that using your thumb has the same precision as your hand? In that case - why would you need this? |

So it does sound like a good alternative to an Xbox controller etc. - but it's the testing in games that you'd normally play with a keyboard/mouse that I'm most interested in. LoL, an FPS (Planetside 2?) and a strategy/RTS game like Civ 5 would cover it  |

Yeah but I dont see that scenario with DotA because its less about being able to aim your mouse at an enemy and more about making the right choices. A good player will always be 100% "accurate" its more when he does that. |

Ofcourse if this comes to something like Counterstrike youre right you can expect everyone to get angry over it. Didnt they initially plan for CSGO to have crossplatform play (and then strapped it because of microsoft/sonys bad patchprocedure)? Pretty ridiculous.
