So, Everyone likes their cars, I love my little cheese, that being the name of my 17 year old fiat cinqecento.
I bought cheese from a good friend after my first driving lesson, for about £500 with plenty of spare parts, and together we put new spark plugs, re did the front and rear brakes. I also sent the head off to be skimmed, Cheese runs brilliantly.

So what cars do you drive, I think we should include any Vehicle.

I'll do a separate post for my brother as he would like to write a bit on his scrap box.

I haven't got a car but recently I'm been thinking about getting one for a bit of gentle motoring.

I've already had some suggestions but I'm looking at one of these:



because I want a really small car...probably because I'm not a great fan of cars so I want one as small as possible

(I'm a van fan mainly. When I did the asbestos I had a company van which was true love)

Hi, I'm Tim, Matts brother.

As he calls it, My scrapbox is my series 3 hi cap landrover. Had an engine change, because 5 miles to the galleon was ridiculous. The donour veichel was a landrover discovery which we then went on to have scrapped, gearbox and axles were ruined only good thing was the engine, thus the reason we had it.



My second car is another seiries 3 landrover 88 inch, currently off the road as the chasis is rotten, But she did server me well when i used her.


Both are pictures from january time.

This is the beasty engine that now lives in my 109 highcap a landrover turbo engine pretty much the same block as the original, just had to change a few mounts and then move the engine.

Oh hey guys hows it going? ^^

I currently have two cars in my fleet!
First one is a Citroen Saxo Forte 1.1



Fun back story about this, I got drunk with one of my mates who has been telling me non stop how he has been going to the gym and flexing his arms and all of that jazz so to shut him up for once and for all ARM WRESTLE! Who ever wins, wins the other persons car (I had a green ((and white panels down one side)) Citroen Saxo 1.6 diesel)
Lets just say my mate was not happy with what happened.

Next one is the car of dreams! It's a Jaguar Sovereign V12 5.3ltr



I got this beast not through hard work, oh no my good internet friends I got this car buy having "coffee" with one of my ex's. We broke up and she needed a hand moving house to the top of town and her parents was there, as I loved her parents I helped and when the move was done this dick nose asked me to help him move house in front of everyone I was like "eeerrr who the fuck are you?" it was only my ex's new fella :S ,so to come across the bigger man I agreed as I had the company van with me (I was not careful moving box's i.e throwing them into the back of the van, down the stairs the gloves was off!) Her dad hated him as he was a rude chap so gave me the car of dreams in front of him to spite him?
TLDNR: Shagged a girl, helped her move house into other guys home, daddy gave me car

Just needs a little a work on her a tiny bit of rust on the window edge and the rims need re-powdering, roof lining needs sticking back, and some paintwork ^^

Looking to expand the fleet as I got a free spot in the garage

I'm lost for words, that jag is a beauty, While we are on the subject of expanding fleets, I am currently saving for a second car, Again I want another cinq, But this one will be sorn for a few months while i do some "minor" body changes, and for the outcome to resemble something similar to this

ISPY - Used to have a bright green Cinquecento - loved it.

Doddy - Let me get this right, your ex's father gave you a rusting, overcomplicated, expensive to run, tax and insure British Leyland car because he likes you?   Not jealous at all.  Really.

Here are my current vehicles.

The yellow peril, aka a Susuki Ignis, when it grows up it wants to be a Camel Trophy Land Rover.  Pic doesn't really show the 50 shades of yellow paintwork or the big dent in the rear C pillar, both of which were there when I bought it.


...And the money pit that is our otherwise awesome Renault Espace.
 umm..... can't seem to find any photos.  But it is awesome... really.

Rusting: Yeah there is a tad of rust but nothing massive it's cosmetic, the car is in full working order due to the fact it has been well looked after over the years (It has a full service history and has never failed an MOT) and has only done 47000 miles so for it's age it has done amazing

Over complicated: For what it is yeah it's over complicated but that is how they build cars like that back then and they was built to last unlike the stuff they just pump out now, also nothing that my mechanic can not do (good family friend) so he will give me the fact's if it goes south

Expensive to run: Well durr to make it worse it has to run on leaded petrol so I have to buy the supplements at £15 a bottle but keep in mind I don't drive it everywhere it's a summer's day drive to county side kinda car, But what isn't expensive to run nowadays?

Tax: £180 a year and the saxo coast £140 a year :S

British Leyland car: In 1984 Jaguar became independent and my Jag was built in 1987 I think?

He likes you?: Sure thing! I still keep in touch with the family, just the other week I popped down to see them and he was working on his other jag and one of his motor bikes (he has like a shit load of bikes a complete petrol head)

I currently have a celica. although it sounds like a john deere till new exhaust arrives. had to buy diffrent wheels as i am not very good with potholes

You have huge pavements round there, Ours are just about big enough for 2 small people to walk along side.
