I can only reinstate what the rules on blighted provinces are. While we were pausing I've been playing a pretty intence game (4 players dropped out right away, rest of us were weak). This is how it seems to work: when blight captures a province, that province will produce armies of the unit type the province was. Usually once a tax turn, sometimes faster. It seems to depend on the strength of the blight forces in that province, which also decides the decline rate of population.

When it says "huge surge" and stuff, it seems to be able to produce reinforcements multiple times per tax turn.

But it only does that as long as there are people in the town. Once the province is completely empty, there will be no further reinforcements and the blight usually moves on. We had two massive armies of 400+ sitting on one spot for days and moving just as soon as the town became empty.

If you recapture an empty town, it takes two days for it to get repopulated. It starts with 25 people, but raises quickly the longer you hold the town. An empty town doesn't produce any income and the markets cannot be upgraded until people come in again. That's about it. Smiley

One important rule is also: if you aren't sure you can hold an empty town after you capture it, don't take it. All it does otherwise is giving the blight the reinforcements again. On the other hand, you will get some coins when you liberate an empty town (liberating it before it's empty is better though as you will get either a free level up or a free army of the units of that town).

From what I've seen not longer than 30 minutes. The game actually appears to work with 30 minutes window, so depending on how close to the end of the windows you use the spell it's either near instantant or take almost 30 minutes. Same thing with Nobel Sacrifice (which is the best spell in the whole game).

I did it at lunch time.. Maybe it's glitched. I think at the moment, Cruel, it's going to be best to just try and save you by retreating towards my settlements. I'll see if I can get a retreat corridor for you soon.

But of course a stack of 35 is following them and they'll arrive half an hour before my fortifications finish. Sad
My hunters are getting reinforced 3 times, but only 1 stack will arrive in before the battle and it'll be very close:

83.3333333333% TOTAL chance of defeat
8.33333333333% MAD

If I get a perfect taxroll, I'll be able to create a new army of treeman and we'd be safe.

How long do the ticks last? I've always thought it was an hour, but I can't recall being on at half hour spots to check. But yeah, timing wise it's best to think of it as 24 (48) turns of an (half) hour each per day, so 'instantaneous' abilities don't come into effect until the tick.

Also, I'm still waiting on those sexy gnomes, P.
