Fixes cases of black corruption lines/triangles with DirectX 10 GPUs. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I can finally play it again. Was unplayable after about 20 minutes. |

Kill the chopper that apparently was just sitting there shooting rockets, not even flying. It was in BF2 too, you know? Though apparently much harder to steer.

In BF2 a solo chopper pilot could switch seats, fire a tv missile, one hit kill you and switch back to flying the chopper again.
Also, you take cover from it by putting a wall between yourself and the chopper. You can steer the rockets but they don't have much of a turning circle.

as a well known tank whore, I love cover. While I may charge from time to time, mostly I will be near something I can scuttle behind to avoid smelly engineer rockets, usually the cover is sufficient to hide from horrible air things too.

Well I've been playing on noob servers.
Not so sure what rank 43's are doing there. And I've my suspicions that even some of the low ranks are noobs in rank level only.......I swear I saw one rank 2 went up to rank 4 in a single game!

I think I have fixed my stability issue. Played for several rounds last night without a hitch (black screen bf3.exe crashed). I think it was one or a combination of the following: 1) CPU getting a bit warm 2) http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/forum/threadview/2832654489420350764/I suspect it was the second but my CPU was running a bit hot so I cleaned out the cooler. It now runs 7C cooler under full load. I have also applied the overvolt to my 560 Ti just to be sure. Happy days!  |
