I pretty sure it's not best run, since the number doubles every generation and I'd not been that far before.
I think maybe it's the target distance.

It doesn't double every generation. I think it might be the top distance from the previous generation(s)?

I've never seen it anywhere near my best run.

It's definitely not the top distance, my previous generation didn't get as far as the number is now.

I'm pretty sure one of mine just had shock absorbers...
I'm scared that if I leave it on overnight I'll come back and the damn thing will be walking across that line.

Seems to be the maximum score at which a test run is reset. No Idea where it gets its values from though...

Yeah, it's the target distance. Think it's double whatever the previous generations best was.

For me so far, evolution sucks. Unless it's trying to evolve into some kind of a sponge with wheels. Actually had one vehicle that moved forward by flipping instead of rolling. Interesting.

Got a Chrome window with 25 tabs running this (<3 process per tab). Will be leaving it overnight.
My main run is up to 117 generations now, but its stuck at a fiendishly difficult bit of terrain.

Nearly 300 generations in now, they're starting to look like bycicles with massive spikes on the top...and they're still fucking miles away from hitting the target destination.
