Is it possible to set the server to "friendly" maybe? No monsters? (If that would be what everyone wants of course). Because I really liked it when everyone was building narby, you could "visit" the other buildungs.. now I moved far away and only see the other houses, when I died.. again.

I'd like a reset with monsters on still. The problem we are having at the moment is we built at a time when monsters wernt there and we are having to retrofit monster defences in and that doesnt quite work. I for one think it would be awesome to make a town wall and have the pressure to stick together from the monsters

i want to keep pvp but it should be gentleman's rules or whatever. No fighting until both players have agreed verbally and had a chance to stow their gear.
or maybe like pvp areas although that could be tricky to sort out.

Yeah, except I recall people randomly blowing up other people's stuff last map, so I don't have any faith in gentleman's rules.
Plus is PvP really that entertaining... I mean... the combat sucks.

I'll cry bitter bitter tears for the loss of my tower and the helix, since I know I'll probably hever be able to make something as cool with health in place.

You probably could make something that cool, it'd just take a lot more planning... Also your 14000 arrows are a travesty and so are you for duping them. I have 12 arrows.

The arrow thing was a bug anyway where you could get infinite free arrows by firing one into a wall.

i need the fences to defend my railway  . But b people blew stuff up before because the only danger or challenge came from that. With monsters as the main threat its a whole different story. And PVP castles away from the town or something is feasable. I was thinking no PVP and no TNT in the town. The town should be built around spawn and be a safe area |

PvP castles? What's that going to be. You build a castle and then.. what? There's just no worthwhile mechanics for combat so turn it off so we can avoid people screwing us.
