Minecraft is pretty great. Wish he hadn't wasted so much time coding The Nether though. It's sort of pointless.

Agreed, although once it works in multi (and properly, none of this emerging through a different portal on the return trip bullshit) it'll make most of our painstakingly constructed transport systems largely pointless.

Not really, seeing as travel through the nether is way more dangerous than travel through the overworld.

I think he just added the nether for the sake of it. I mean.. what's the point in transporting yourself vast distances? There's nothing there.
Disco you need to start playing again so we can go spelunking together. Caves are scary on my own =[

Is there going to be a reset once we go to Beta?

Yeah, someone should do that. Personally I don't really want a reset, because I worked hard to build my house in the desert. (BRICKS IT'S MADE OF BRICKS)
BUT I've noticed that a lot of the WDGers haven't been playing since the reset. I hardly recognise anyone most of the time.
If we reset again, will some WDGers come back and journey into the wilderness with me to create a base to go spelunking from? If not then I CBA. Getting rid of dupes seems a bit pointless unless you were planning to go PVPing. If you want to play without dupes.. don't do any duping. If Capval has 128 arrows and a shitload of TNT it doesn't really matter to me. I'm out in the desert. Haven't seen another player in weeks...

It does feel a bit empty, I think its also because everyone's spread out, I liked it before the reset when everyone built around each other and everything was interconnected. I wouldn't mind a reset if only in the hope that people would build a little closer.

Well with the newfangled risk of DEATH, building distant from the spawn becomes an interesting and terrifying proposition. If I die spelunking, I have no way of getting back to all my stuff because I don't know where it is in the grand scheme of things.

I'm for a reset, I haven't really played much cos it feels like I'm starting watching at Season 6, and I'm hoping by beta it'll be finally somewhat stable. It'd be great to get in at the beginning.

If it'll get the old school playing again then I'm in favour of a reset. But really.. it's minecraft, if you want to start from scratch, walk away for a couple days.

I think a reset would be good, everyone is miles away from me and my castle seems to be a creeper magnet
