Interesting offer which was too tempting to pass up myself; Oblivion plus all DLC (inc. Shivering Isles): £6.80 http://store.steampowered.com/app/900883/Morrowind: Everything Included Edition; £3.25 http://store.steampowered.com/app/22320/I've already played Oblivion (with some odd mods) but I was tempted to play it again and play some of the DLC (since the main plot and much stuff in it does suck!), as well as play it with a massively more powerful rig to see it really shine. Morrowind; well it's bloody hard and I've only previously tried playing it on an Xbox which kinda sucks and is really difficult. In any case, it certainly seems like something I'd like to play on PC, thus the buy! If anyone has any Oblivion mod suggestions (not fixpacks - I can find UI changes, bug fixes and leveling fixes - but not as easily find good complete content!) I'd love to know, since I'll be mainly playing it for the new stuff. Same with Morrowind actually. |

Morrowind has been cheap on amazon for years. I bought it years ago but could never really get into it.

Yeah, never less then a fiver when I looked though. I think the start of that game does suck since you can easily get killed in the first few minutes, but it's a lot more free roaming then Oblivion (and less "Level to your level" difficulty).

Couldn't get into Morrowind at all. Oblivion was far better. Like Fallout 3 you can wander around for ages avoiding the main quest. The OOO patch is definitely worth having. Oh.... and there's this Oblivion blog http://livinginoblivion.wordpress.com/category/nondricks-non-adventure/. A totally different way of playing. |

Oblivion right now is £5.09 or £6.79 for GotY with the expansion pack.
It is brilliant.

Got bored out of my skull playing oblivion (additionally, the auto-level system fucked me over and the german translation was infamously bad), but I LOVE reading how other people play it. I think we had shamel linked right?

Oblivion is excellent, you just have to have fun with it in your own way... for me that meant totally ignoring the main quest and becoming the archmage, then screwing over towns full of people.

I lost interest in the main plot extremely quickly, but had massive funzies when I found out about other questlines. I made two characters, one to go and be magey and overpowered, the other one was just a typical thief, who I don't think I could kill anyone with, but that wasn't the point. Nobody could ever detect him, or catch him if they did see him... had hilarious times robbing mansions. |
