Just been on a pub server and found out you can build multiple sentries. One guy had six up. Utter utter madness.

Allow me to be the first here to declare WTF HAX
There was something a while ago where spies could build dispensers, or did I dream that?

Yeah...apparently one of the changes valve made was to the engineer binds for the build menu - allowing you to build multiple objects.
Spies were also able to build dispensers using the bug.
We have applied a plugin to Server #1 to prevent this from happening.

n1 Sammy!
Looks like a new Tf2 update arrived this morning anyway...
Fixed several issues with the Source SDK Added new items to commemorate our 119th (or so) update Scout's "Retire the Runner" achievement updated to be "Kill a Scout while they are under the effect of Crit-a-Cola." Added a 20% damage bonus to The Backburner. Fixed the Flare Gun's afterburn duration being lowered by the Flamethrower's duration reduction. Fixed the teleporter exit using the wrong particle effect. Fixed HUD damage indicators not appearing. Fixed Teleporters not reverting to level 1 when their other side is destroyed. Fixed receiving damage not causing view-kicks on players. Fixed Engineers & Spies being able to circumvent build restrictions. Fixed Server Browser not saving filter settings properly. Fixed a client crash in the targetID on clients running custom HUDs

Fixed all things we would have noticed easily, if we played a single game with the final build of the update.

Well I can't code for shit, but I can notice missing things just fine. I can both applaud Valve and smite them... When making software, you generally have a "regression test" - a set of tests that you repeat with every build in order to check that new functionality doesn't break the old. Whilst I accept that games software is incredibly complicated and difficult to test, I still don't see why Valve don't have a standard set of things to repeat test. Obviously this is made more complicated by the fact that there is an "exploit" needed to get the dodgy result for the engineer (i.e. multiple sentries).

Isn't this the second time its happened though? The exact same bug? Thats kind of sloppy tbh.
Still, <3 Valve and all their bumholes.
