Power died??? Did Lully finally do him in? Or did he fail to follow Junta's autoerotic asphyxiation instructions effectively?

He overheated from playing too many games, or so I heard. Or maybe Junta clogged his exhaust fan

Relax, honey. What Brahms doesn't know (of course) is that a coworker of mine actually died on sunday, which makes this joke a bit weird, but let's not get all freaked out about, okay? Brahms would know best that we're all going to die eventually.

irreverent humour helps make it less scary too, it wasn't meant to offend or upset and we probably wouldn't have joked about it had we known it was an inappropriate time. Sorry

It's alright. Pretty tragic and sad, when you think about it - co-workers are probably the people we spend the most of our time with (when you count out sleeping). We're all pretty beat down about it, which is why some distraction is welcome. Don't worry about it.

I'm very sorry to hear that news Paul.
As for Brahms' post, I very much echo Discordances comment. I don't believe that he intended to upset anyone. Sometimes we all say silly things that we would take back immediately if we'd thought about it properly. I'm sure that Brahms will say as much when he returns to this thread.
Have some <3
EDIT: Back on topic. I have an older ATX power supply that I'm willing to send Milli? It hasn't done anything for a couple years but you are welcome to try it if you wish? You may also need a 20-pin to 24-pin converter (maplin does these for a couple of quid).

If you go way, way back to page one before the fail derail I was posting that I would be making a triumphant return to TF2 (when Mrs Bystander and mini Bystander let me) because my new PSU had arrived. Thanks for the offer though Sorry to hear about your workmate Paul. Never nice when things like that happen.

Unfortunately I know that lovely burning smell all to well, as I have been responsible for a mass power unit genocide as of late.
Luckily my latest power unit hasn't exploded (yet), though admittedly I did slightly overcompensate on its rating mostly out of rage. As a result, I am probably now solely responsible for global warming. Apologies in advance.

no need to apologise burn, it was all the logging we started in the bronze age, too late to stop it now. Fighting climate change is like the war on drugs, or the war on terror. Can't win baby.
