We've had the CT scan results and It's definitely not one of the large life threatening ones so that's good news. Just waiting on her lumbar puncture results.

Just got back from the hospital. Turns out that the tests we had been waiting for the results since half seven aren't being tested until the morning. We were told everything would be done within a couple of hours and we would be able to go home tonight, so now I've come home very angry at the hospital and without Becca.

Hope everything turns out ok. The worst thing about hospitals is the sitting around waiting and being ignored whilst no one tells you anything. Then a consultant comes in takes one look at your results and says "nothing to worry about, you can go home" and you have to wait another hour for discharge paperwork to be done. Actually that's not the worst thing, the worst thing is if you get seen at once. Then you know it's really serious. |
