Personally, the thought of it makes me cringe because the whole thing sounds wholly unhygienic - sticking your feet in a pool of water that's had hundreds of peoples' sweaty feet in it. Not for me thanks! Not to mention that the fish will have to shit in the water and that inevitably they will die sometimes. I know that they will have to change the water or have a decent filtration system and won't let dead fish just sit there - but still seems like it could get pretty grim to me! I'm sure it feels nice though - I'd like to try it with a new set of fish and fresh water

I was in Camden Lock the other weekend. There were two stalls with people having it done.
Not too sure about the hygiene in those places though
Edit: hah....posted same time as Deadly but couldn't be bothered to change it
In the sort of posh and poncy place I'd go to I'd hope they would change the water!

The wife and I had one of these at Singapore Zoo a couple of years back, before it came to London and the 'Elf and Safety people got interested. Was absolutely hilarious.

Surely one issue is that they can't *completely* change the water? The fish need to be left in a little bit of water to live, so you could change most of the tank but you'd need to leave a bit, which would inevitably have some amount of detritus.

The fish need to be left in a little bit of water to live Apparently they have advanced technological devices called "nets" that, unbelievably, can lift fish from water and transfer it to other water. Yes, I was amazed too.

I have just returned from an absolutely incredible field trip in Sicily.
Lets just say it involved running down Mt. Etna, crawling through lava tubes and swimming in the med at 2am! (and lots of drinking and eating pizza)
I shall be posting pictures when people upload them to facebook because I tragically lost my camera before we left.

Well at least in home aquariums you are not supposed to replace more than 50% of the water at once, otherwise it changes too much for fishes. Might not apply to all fishes.

Those fish live on the dead skin off the bottom of peoples feet, I'm sure they can survive changing their water.

Forgot I had someone coming into work to start my Customer Care NVQ today. Something I'd asked about and forgotten about ages ago. I was going to do a Retail NVQ but my tutor recommended the Customer Care one, said it was less work for both of us and I get 4 qualifications at the end of it.
So far I've done a literacy and numeracy test (I passed without needing extra tuition). As I've been working in customer service industries since I left school in 1989 I'm taking the BTEC exam at the next meeting in December.
My homework - update my CV and fill in a form on employee rights.
The trade manager has been in retail for 4 years (he was a builder before) and has been made my mentor. We both appreciate the irony.

Replaced my cracked phone screen today. It's good as new now, awarded myself 10 Man Points Only £25 too for the whole assembly, including fast delivery. Bidding for some upgrade bits and bobs atm, Hoping to put together an original i7 system for a reasonable price.

No, Mister Tesco's man, I do not want a conversation five minutes after I have awoken.
Kindly hand me my produce and vacate my doorstep.
