They say the act of observation changes the out come of experiments. Shrodigger's Cat and all that. So now that I've planted the seed of "Friday the 13th" in your minds, do you perseave the day with dread or continue on as normal?

I know it's early in the day, and that it's late in the week. But there are times when I do genuinly find myself considering the stability of my sanity.

For reasons that I can not fathom I've found myself listening back to the "Rippy Announcer" files. In particular "announcer_am_firstblood03_b" and "am_announcer_lastmanforfeit03". Two thoughts are occuring to me. Firstly "I must be mad" and "Why am I laughing?"

I think today is going to be a strange day.

I am having a day today where *SO* much could go wrong. Packing, loading up my car, driving for 2.5 hours around London to get to my new home, which I need to fill out the forms/pay rent for before trying to unpack and move in with a bunch of people I've met for about 5 minutes. Going to be a hectic day.

Plus my birthday is the 13th of Jan, and there have been a few on fridays and I'm still here.

Friday the 13th occurs when the thirteenth day of a month falls on a Friday, which superstition holds to be a day of bad luck. In the Gregorian calendar, this day occurs at least once, but at most three times a year. Any month's 13th day will fall on a Friday if the month starts on a Sunday.

Oh...I also decided yesterday that at the age of 22 years old and about to embark on a professional career that it isn't acceptable for me to bite my fingernails any more. A habit I have had for as long as I can remember. I am using that 'Stop 'n Grow' stuff which you paint on your nails and it has a really really horrible taste. They call it 'willpower in a bottle'.

As a result, I spent the whole of yesterday with a really really horrible taste in my mouth, I expect the same to be true for the foreseeable future :/

(P.S. I'd be a shit woman, can't paint my nails at all)

Nice early morning for me, waiting for Mr BT technician man to come and install a BT line so I can finally take the next step to getting internets here
Though he's coming between 8am and 1pm, so knowing my luck he'll get here at like 12:55pm. As much fun as sitting here and watching daytime TV will be....
