Theory Tested, tis just saying whatever you're carrying has been destroyed as well as you dying. It makes an exploding sound when you die though, so I think that's what threw me off. Was running next an engi yesterday when suddenly BOOM!

Any new weapon is annoying until you learn it, the huntsman was awful when new. Every corner i'd pop round i'd find an arrow in my head.

Yes, the sentry is back where it used to be in terms of locking down the map, as it should be, and its even weaker versus spies now. With manual aim comes a complete lack of awareness to spies, and i've been sniped a fair few times as well although noone seems to have the coordination to come at my sentry then. Its a shocking turn of events that a sniper can actually have a goddamn use and shut down a sentry for 3 seconds.

Like many updates its the changes that get you, like demomen with the targe have to be shot not burned or blown up the natural answer to a wrangle sentry is a sniper shooting the engy which then disables the sentry for 3 secs.
The mini sentry is for battle engys enabling them to press forward

Maybe, but an übered heavy should not have problems destroying a sentry from 2 meters distance.

Why should he be effective versus sentries, he was my number 1 choice for sentry destruction if he could get in range but as long as sentries are still vulnerable to some classes its fine and tbh sentries needed protection from something, demos with the targe can only be countered by bullets so why should sentries get owned by every offensive class and snipers, even scouts and engis could pistol an unattended sentry, all that contributed to their fragility.
