Guerilla was meant to be pretty cool. Armageddon was meant to be OK in a brainless way but disappointing after the direction Guerilla seemed to be taking the series. Only going on my extensive knowledge and faultless intuition though. Never played either.

I played Guerilla for all of an hour or two and got bored.
Armageddon on the other hand was fantastic and I really enjoyed playing it.
They're two very different games - Guerilla is more a la Just Cause 2 but the story and missions seemed pretty dull/boring. Armageddon is a linear shooter - but was infinitely more fun to play for me.

Red Faction-wise, Guerilla is a lot more about messing around in a more open world whereas Armageddon was a much more focused affair. My experience was the opposite of Deadly's; I played Guerilla through to the end and while it was a little repetitive in missions by the end, the fact that at any given moment I could bugger off and try to knock down an entire apartment block using only my hammer kept my attention up. For Armageddon, it seemed like they read all the reviews about the destruction being fun then missed the point entirely, keeping the brilliant engine but then tying you strictly to a story that frankly wasn't up to it. It's still fun, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the game was just waiting impatiently for me to move on into the next tunnel.

Riiiiiiight....
I suddenly seem to have 3 copies of Renegade Ops minus the DLC in my inventory. No email from steam, can those who I gave it to confirm it hasn't been removed from their account?

Bit underwhelmed by the sales of the past few days, nevertheless can anyone shed some opinions about Disciples III?

Nothing I've played on sale today so can't say anything except that Terraria is PROBABLY worth 1.50 given it seems to have been a pretty big hit at Rock Paper Shotgun.

Today Brahms recommends Ass Creed Bros and Dead Space 1 + 2. All are solid picks for the price.
