As the title says, I haven't changed any settings for the wireless network and I'll be buggered if my mrs knows how to, yet my laptop can't connect to my wireless network; if I get Windows to diagnose the problem it says the network key is wrong which, after numerous attempts/variants I've found it isn't. Also, every time it fails to connect I get the error message "rundll32 has stopped working" which after a quick google tells me that either my nero CD burning software is wonky (I don't have nero CD burning software) or something to do with my picture viewing which is odd as I'm not trying to view any pictures, rather trying to connect to my network.
Any ideas?

Had a lot of random problems like this, turned out the battery was on the blink, taking the battery out and running on mains power fixed all the problems.

Yeah, bit of a wierd one, I thought my wireless network had been hacked or something. Aparently not though. Still, slightly concerned about the "rundll32 has stopped working error" though. Haven't seen it since, I'll do a full virus scan and defrag when I get in I guess.

Routers can often have crashes and cause issues like this tbh Rundll32 is a system process which is calls many different dll files to do many diferent operating system functions.... i.e. The shutdown command is a rundll32 call, and so is the show desktop command...... If you keep getting them I would suggest a reinstall of windows, but tbh it could have been related to the wifi not being able to connect and receiving dodgy commands from your router.... the whole cause of the issue. Nice one eggy, I don't think I saw the error since I got the connection sorted but I'll look into it more when I get home from work.
