As a contractor you definitely need to ask for more monies - You're not getting any company benefits and have to deal with the Tax hassle.
When my dad was contracting he was getting paid roughly twice the salaried rate for the same job.

The boss sees his email, but doesnt want to give him a raise, and is so outraged at the thought of somebody asking via an email that he not only fires sam but decides to spend the money he no longer has to spend in wages for him on paying for a cannon to fire him into the sun. it's a cheaper option but I'm sure that would NEVER happen right? |
