Hmm, what classes does the pyro want away from him? Pyros usually want enemies close. Long range airblast against übers?

Sniper weapon... I dunno, seems somewhat okay, depends on how accurate the SMG is.
Based on my experience on the recieving end of omni's SMG it can be quite accurate. As for the rocket launcher, that 3 degrees will only make a difference at range. Up close it won't matter at all. (assuming it does end up as 3 degrees and valve don't get their orders of magnitude wrong again...)

So long as they don't fire all three rockets instantaneously. Close range fights with a Soldier usually is about how well you can dodge rockets - no way you can dodge three rockets at the same time...

I can't see that rocket launcher being any good in a 1-on-1 type situation - by the time you have loaded 3 rockets (time in which you are doing no damage) you should be dead. The only time it will help is when you are either waiting around a corner or you just get lucky with the timing. Loading 2 rockets instead of 3 might provide a decent trade-off between time taken to reload and damage dealt.
Also I think the 3 degrees of freedom thing will basically mean that soldiers who stand out of range of sentries are likely to miss one of the rockets when they fire - so the sentries won't go down so easy.

I thought it was good. Was never going to live up to the hype but it managed to both show us something about the pyro, but maintain its air of mystery. Very difficult to do really.
