the l4d2 update is so huge cos it contains all the l4d1 assets. What is fail is when you already have l4d installed so its just making a second copy of a ton of files.

yeah my l4d update finished just as i bought l4d2 yesterday
took the piss to dl l4d2 though with it getting an average dl speed on 40kbps and half the time it was just suspended and not doing anything damn the servers took a hammering yesterday

The Parish's finale would be the only one worth playing if it weren't for 15 seconds not quite being enough to stop all 4 tanks spawning on top of the survivors before the bridge is lowered. Having said that, well done to abda and emu for making it halfway along the bridge each before being tracked down and punched.
It's very very broken as a game mode, but great fun with mumble.

Indeed, shame I couldnt play the parish but perhaps another night soon (before the mutation changes). I normally hate versus purely because playing survivor is almost like being griefed. But that's just my opinion, I've never fully enjoyed playing a versus game tbh and would much rather just play campaign on a harder difficulty.
But this was megalols ^_^ There was no illusion that anyone was going to make it, just how far you could sprint before you got owned. Having said that, came so close to making it to the safe room on the first chapter of No Mercy. Ninja'd around a tank and was almost there, untill a common clawed my ankle -.- imo, there should be shit tonnes of adrenaline kicking about.

It's amazing fun. I'm not a fan of normal versus either, but running away from 4 tanks really gets your adrenaline pumping, especially when you actually walk into a bathroom/closet/deadend.

Just peeves me off when you get stupid spawns  We had one round where we didn't hit a single survivor because we spawned so far back On their turn they of course they all spawn in front of us /rage But yeah, it's crazy fun |
