Well yeah.. because of Fallout, but I didn't see much of that in their later games tbh. And I confused them for the developers for the excellent KOTOR, when they actually were the developers of (alright, but not quite as good) KOTOR II.

Also a  lot of Baldur's gate was some form of collaboration between Black Isle and BioWare.

In case noone is gonna do that, you can just simply overwrite the launcher.exe with one from sites like gamecopyworld (no this site is not just full of cracks)

I know gamecopyworld. But afaik it works with the foreign helpers.

I lost the game after I deleted one partition by accidentand I decided to show my respect to Bioware and buy it (for the lower price of course Smiley)
