A while ago you may remember me telling you about my weird freezing/clicking problem that appeared to be my hard-drive.
Well they replaced my 150Gb Raptor X with a slightly updated 150Gb Raptor (aww no clear bit, but apparently this one has SATA2 instead of SATA1)
So I have just reinstalled everything (no TF2 quite yet) but I found a whole load of information such as
http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2238 and things like the fact that vista will only ever boot using 1 core, even if you have 2/4 and might give you a slightly faster boot time etc.
I also overclocked my pc for the first time properly

Got my E6600 running at 3.2Ghz stable (ran that prime95 thing for 6 hours) with an FSB of 1425Mhz and a bus speed of 356Mhz and a 1:1 FSB:DRAM ratio (whatever the hell that all means) but it made my vista performance thing go from 5.6 to 5.9 which makes me happy all the same
