hi everyone I just want to introduce meself, my names rob and I've been getting into tf2 alot recently but i want to get better, could you suggest some ways? I was thinking maybe going in a clan to get more experience  anyway thanks all |

Welcome bud. You wanna try and find the best classes for you so make sure you try them all! If you're an experienced fpser, sniper and scout are a good starting point. If you're a sneaky bastard try spy! And if you're lazy try engineer and let your sentry do the work!  |

Thanks for all the advice, I've been enjoying being a sniper the most but also really enjoying being a soldier too, is it a bad thing if you just try and be one or two types of class all the time?

Not really, you'll find a class you're best at and most of the time you'll stick with it. But don't give up on the other classes straight away. A few of them you'll be terrible at to start with, but keep practising and they occasional turn into your new regular class. (for me it was Demoman and Spy) Though it's best to have a rough idea how to play each class (you don't need to be pro at them all ) just incase the team requires it. But essentially, the point is keep practising with all the classes...yeeeaa |

Hi elf. most of us mortals have a couple of classes we do - one major, one minor if you like . There are one or two irritating players on the server who are impressively good at everything but that is not the norm. I'm on me jols so i ain't played you yet but my mates will give you a good fraggin on my behalf.

The best way to get better is, as said before, practice. Try to get a few of the achievements, they can help you get some techniques.
I used to be a soldier all the time, then I went to demo and now I generally play pyro/heavy, it's best to be able to play all the classes, it's easy to turn the tide of battle like that, lol.
