I have put the full ECS set on - well see if that works and people can connect or not - if not then we'll resort back to the default/plain settings for simplicity.

Server is up now. I've done the same as last time and started it up and paused immediately. I've set it to a slightly later starting year (1965) and it's running all of the ECS cargo addon stuff. Hopefully you'll be able to get the files to join easily enough but I have no idea how - if someone figures it out and others are struggling then post here to help the others Cheesy

Lots of nice additions with the ECS stuff

It was automatically downloaded on connection to the server, so no installation issues at all.

And I will never ever admit that Lefty is right but trains are better than buses  Tongue

(and ships are slow)

Sorry I disappeared randomly - daughter woke up and proceeded to throw up randomly for the next two hours, ended up falling asleep before making it back to the PC. Good game while it lasted though, forgot how much I enjoyed OpenTTD and also how to not completely mess up signalling to start with.

The ECS stuff looked really good although I ended up getting a bit lost with all the new raw materials and products.
Anyway, still managed to get some money out of the old buses and mail delivery system.

Did I win in the end or did all my planes crash, all my factories close down and the business split up due to corruption.

Your HQ was a three storey building made of bricks and had two (two!) flagpoles. Ours were trailers or warehouses. I think it is safe to say you won.

Here are the results etc:

I did have a go at taking a screenshot of the entire map but it came out at 82mb - whoops.

I'm really enjoying TTD - if anyone wants to play a game over a series of evenings or occasionally (outside of Llama nights) then let me know and I'll try to organise something.

I was struggling this time until I went for the dirty plane money. I also failed at putting my learning of signals into practice and often ended up with a whole series of trains stuck around a station.

100% safety record though, unlike some people.........
