Was combing Reddit and people were talking about getting on the bone marrow transplant register, when I went to the website I saw that they were specifically looking for men aged 18-30. I've been on the BBMR register for 3ish years and not had a call yet, you do need to be a blood donor as well. Also realised that I'm now heavy enough to donate blood. Crap...
how can you not be heavy enough to give blood? how little do you weigh? |

Also you they can obtain the stem cells from a blood donation now, no need to necessarily bore into your femur anymore |

Yeah, I heard that, it's pretty unlikely you have to deal with the surgery but I think there's still a chance.
