today, I got hassled by the trading community to fix the servers.. nope
I laddered all day in SC2
Won most of my games (70%ish) but the end of the season is nearing so I'm not gonna do much more till the next season starts. Can't wait

LoL again. Got to level 13 after an epic match which went over an hour with both team having destroyed literally everything except for the main core, whatever that's called. Sadly we lost that one. Gonna get some singleplayer action in over the weekend. Also finally ordered the PC upgrade pieces (2500k and mainboard + RAM). With any luck they arrive tomorrow.

Well I tried to play TF2, but again my connection seems absoloutely screwed around peak time.

Genuinely better fix it in November.

Great late night RO2 games with Disco and Mode. When you have a team mate aside from Disco you can get a bit more team play stuff going.

Alright the PC is running fine apparently. CPU is like at 44° while running Crysis Warhead. This post is a big FUCK YOU to the mission designer of that game though.

HEY here is a novel idea. We'll put the player on a slow moving train, with virtually no cover and give him a stationary gun, with which he has to kill about 2000 snipers, vehicles, helicopters and other machine gun nests, while dying from apparently just one shot from fuck knows where!!! Also, let make ridiculously stupid checkpoint saves, like immediately before the player is ambushed from three sides or before a long ride with a good chance of dying, but making him to run to the stupid train and listen to stupid dialogue over and over and over again.

Just the intel boxed cooler. Not totally silent, but barely audible. Good temps. Will do for now.

Even on some cheap ass cooler (freezer 7 for example) you can get that shit up to 4mhz without even trying.

I've been using my old CPU at 3 GHz and it was almost fine. This is clocked at 3.3 GHz by default and even at the same frequency it is faster than my old one. Overclocking is not even an issue right now. ^^ But thanks for the info.

Yeah, finished Crysis Warhead today. The finale was disappointing, because the final boss (which is the same as in the main game) bugged out, because I didn't approached it from the direction the developers appreaciated. Thus it just stood there, not reacting in any way to me shooting him with the experimental gun repeatedly. Then it died. The end.

Oh no wait! Another enemy appeared and I fought him using all my tricks!!! Except it was a long long cutscene. Meh. This time I didn't manage to seat through the credits, which I usually do. It took long as it is already, but then when the credits for warhead were over it said "Based on original Crysis" and rolled alle the credits from the first game as well.... FFFFFUUUUUUU well I already saw those once, so I skipped.

Now wondering what to start next. With BF3 appearing in a couple of days, my multiplayer diet will probably be a bit one-sided, so have to pick up a single player game to balance it out.

Just started playing Alice Madness Returns, it's half price on Steam this weekend.

First impressions...beautiful looking game (on my splendid laptop with the setting all on high!) Camera angle took a bit of getting used to, not sure if that will become more apparent further into the game.

Loved the dodge mechanic. When Alice dodges, she disintegrates into a cloud of blue butterflies and then soldifies again to one side. Think they should implement it in Battlefield 3 but maybe with flower petals instead.

Gamersgate had a sale on the prince of persia games a while back in which I picked up the first 3, and I've only just got around to playing them in sessions where I know I won't have time for a proper shot at shogun 2 or the twin multiplayer sirens of tf2 and lol. It's surprising how the platforming alternates between graceful and clunky, particularly with my recent experience with the Ass Cred games.
