...is finally coming to PC on August 2nd

Already played through it on xbox many times, will get it again on STEAM because I really want to see Playdead putting out another game of the same quality or even better.

Fully recommended just for the sake of it being a game that everyone can play, its no supermeatboy-ish hard platformer and its short, but it lives through its atmosphere and world it presents and in there it really exceeds in my opinion. I think Yahtzee said it best in his review, its a game for people who love videogames. He actually indirectly compared it to Shadow of the Colossus which I also like to compare this to, its a game that you wont forget that fast because of what it shows you and stuff. Besides, eventhough the price hasnt been announced yet, Im pretty sure it wont cost more than a tenner, so why not?

I guess thats personal preference but many say theyre equally good in their own way.

Braid for example is a game I never finished because I suck at platformers especially when it has elements of rewinding time etc. I really want to give it a try again though.

This is more of an accessible game thats not too hard but then again its not boring, it reminds me alot of Abes Oddysee since theres alot of challenges where you need exact timing and memory of what to do.

I'd tend slightly towards Braid personally, but still give Limbo a high recommendation.

Limbo is easier than Braid, but still has some satisfying puzzles that make you smile when you figure out the solution. Limbo should mostly be played for the atmosphere. In FPS games I'm so used to dying I don't bat an eyelid, but a few times in Limbo I actually flinched at the death of my character.

Derp I finally finished it. Well did it in two sittings, had two major derp events. Overall playtime 3.7 hours. Nice little game, though I probably didn't understand the ending.

I really wish the developer would have atleast made some hints to what the ending was supposed to mean, but sofar they have been quiet about it. The most common theory is that the ending with all the gravity shifts is supposed to simulate a crashing car (hence why at the very end, you break through glass/a windshield) and therefore the boy and his sister died in a car accident? I dunno, the whole "plot" in the game is just too vague to really nail it down, but there are some really interesting theories on it.

I cant wait for their next game, sofar it looks very promising, theyve payed off all their debts last year and have since then expanded their studio and are now fully independent, so hopefully no more stupid xbox exclusivity for a year.

Was a great ending I thought. Has really stuck with me. It had a great rhythm to it, the final gravity switching puzzle and then breaking through that glass.

Doesn't really explain much but I was never expecting it to tbh.
