Personally I never experienced the stuttering or fps problems in the first place, plus the patch came out last night and apparently it's fixed everything ever. But only once people restart their servers.

huh? BC2 had a normal launch, without any problems besides a 4hour server downtime on day 2 as far as I remember. And that was pretty much nothing against the 21-hour server downtime of blops today and the general fucked-up-factor of this piece of consoleport-garbage.

I recall bfbc2 having quite a lot of pointless downtime too. Not to mention the fact that the server browser/friends list etc didn't work at all.

Feel justified not buying this game at launch. Buying PC games at launch is getting more and more pointless.

Speaking of which, does the game include Spec Ops? I heard it doesn't, but I know that I saw a trailer where the guy was talking about how cool the spec ops mode was. So.. I'm assuming you'll end up paying for that...

Dunno what I'm going to do about Brink.. buy it three months after launch?

No spec ops, but I seem to remember hearing something about it in the pre-release hype. Probably will be the first set of DLC; Koticks already said that he's going to rape the shit out of this game with post release content.

Also, after Fallout New Vegas and this, I see no point in buying games on release unless you want to be part of the hype train. I'll be keeping an eye on shit until it works, then getting it, however long that may be.
