I vote to keep the BC2 hate in the BC2 thread, the MW2 hate in the MW2 thread and the BlOps hate up in here, because srsly, having the same conversations in 3 different threads is getting a bit tiresome.

I'm still waiting for them to confirm Steamworks; once they've announced that I'm defo getting it day 1, if its punkbuster again I probably won't bother.

But steamworks doesn't necessarily mean VAC or anti-cheat stuff... Bemusing as Punkbuster is, what other things are there? |

This. I only really want Steamworks for the achievments and all that other crap (friends etc), the fact that theres VAC on there is a bonus. Like Cruel said, the best anti cheat is admins and now that they've confirmed dedis thats good enough for me. Punkbuster is just obstructive and anoying in that you can't have any overlay enabled (Steam, mumble) because the PB devs refuse to update their code AND its a shit anti-cheat so you still get hackers, AND you get kicked for having the Steam overlay enabled... |

i think it depends on the versions tbh, punkbuster is poo in that they have mutplie client and server versions usually a different combination for each game for some insane reason. So older games will have the older clients which will flag steam as bad.

Multiplayer modes got revealed last night. Looks cool, I especially like the look of Sticks and Stones and Gun Game is always awesome. Should give some nice variety to TEAM SHOOTPEOPLEINTHEFACEMATCH. Also, inb4haters gon' hate.
