By combine he means Barney and by fight he means wrestle naked and allow barney to show his fawning admiration for you. Then theres a hot coffee mini-game where you have to keep to the rhythm.
He probably gave up when he had to fight that combine in the interrogation room without any weapons. LOL @ you all Yes I got the gravity gun, yes I made it past the incredibly boring boat bit and equally mind numbing car going through the beaches (with the thumpers / insects). In fact I remember getting as far as the canyon that was caving in on my head (after killing a massive beastie in a room) - got to the city I believe? |

So basically you went through 2/3 of the game only to find it incredibly boring?  If I remember correctly, there are only 3 settings left till the game ends: Nova Prospect (where you get some antlions to use as weapons), City area (with massive citizen rebellion going on and some squad management also.. striders) and the citadel, which plays very different to what you had until then. I don't know man, something's wrong with you. |

That's what I wanted to do, I have all HL thingies and expansion packs installed on steam, I just don't have the time. Also, the machine gun in HL:Source felt different from the original HL, much more recoil to the point where running and gunning became a lesser viable option.
Okay, enough gushing over HL.
