im not even close to finishing f3. new vegas was just better and easier to explore. And theres like one train tunnel and its super short and you don't even need to go there. I don't think I will ever play f3 again, I am just so tired of subway tunnels

I, too, will likely wait until the DLC is cheaper/all out/boxed up/available all at once. I am on and off playing a second run through with a melee char and different companion so probably will use that and just wait for it all to be out, if it is worth getting.

I finished the DLC last night and it was pretty good tbh. Felt more like a survival horror game then the main game with lots of sneaking around overpowered enemies with no guns/ammo (sooooo glad I had loads of points in sneak and unarmed ). The story was quite cool, the new companions were funny and interesting and there are some handy new perks and lewt (the highlight on the lewt front for me was the Bear Trap fist which is basically a glove with a bear trap on the front of it that snaps shut when you punch people with it  ). I think I spent about 5 hours with it, but I did rush through towards the end (I wanted to get it finished before the woman got home from work) so I'd want to do another playthrough to spend some time with it and really explore a bit more and try some of the other character interaction options. I think if you took your time you could get another couple of hours out of it so it probably works out at about £1/hour (same as Tommy <3).

It also hinted towards 2 other DLC's which sound amazing as well, I won't spoiler here, but there's a few bits and pieces about it on the New Vega's wikia.

My biggest problem with fallout: new vegas at the moment is that I don't know what to do about Mr. House - I have so many bloody options that I don't know what to do for the best!

Yeah, I had a real dilema around that time, I think I reloaded previous saves a couple of times to see what would happen . I just made a new character to try out another ending for the maingame and the DLC and try siding with a few other factions . Also, I wanted to roleplay an alcoholic cowboy.

You can do quite a few missions while you decide what to do with Mr House, if you let Benny escape you do get a Legion Medallion (not sure you get one if you kill him) ,you can meet Ceasar and it makes the robot upgrade mission easy.  Lots of, Radaway Rad X and a radiation suit recommended though.  If you are doing the sniper thing get the anti material rifle, awesome at long range, crap at short range

Massive spoilers about the end game in here, just thought I'd add an additional warning.

Yeah, I think I went off and did all my companions side missions whilst I was making my mind up, as well as loading up some old saves to see what would happen. Sooooo many different options its unbelievable, I ended up killing Mr House, siding with the NCR and wiping out Ceaser's Leigon dickbags with support from the BoS and the Enclave Remnants . Awesome fight that one.

You can also get incendiary anti-material rifle ammo which sets things it doesn't kill on fire . I prefered the modded normal sniper rifle with AP ammo for armoured targets or the Ratslayer with HP for everything else for my sniping, the AM rifle didn't fit in with my sneaky bastard playstyle. Still hella funny though.

It really pissed off that even though I carried a massive amount of Rad X and Radaway and had a Rad suit on I died within seconds, that just pissed me off.  Surely there should be some way of surviving and saving the world
