If Lib Dem get in and raise personal allowance for income tax from £6000 to £10000, that's almost £800 extra in your pocket (if you earn >10K ) Sound Interesting now?

it's a good policy on paper until you realise they will tax other areas to pay for it. It's unfortunate that the 3 main parties just move taxes around rather than actually reducing the overall tax burden, which I believe was running at about 50% a year or so ago.

But that's always been the problem with politicians, they all
believe that they can spend your money better than you do.

Personally I hold the apparently unpopular belief that we should remain in / join the EU, but thats another issue.

According to this quiz, I'm smack bang in the middle of everything, which seems strange.

As for Lib Dem policies, I agree with what a few people said here, they are giving with one hand and taking with the other (in a more subtle way). Some of their other policies simply seem way too optimistic or unrealistic for my liking. Plus, I don't feel that Nick Clegg dominated the previous debate, I think he simply repeated the ''we need action'' clause until many people stopped paying attention to what he was / wasn't saying.

Still, each to their own I guess.

I thought the last debate was pretty even, certainly don't see what all the clegg fuss is about, he did well but wasn't spectacular. The expectation is on him tonight, some people are going to be disappointed tonight if he's not farting rainbows and making the blind see.

I hope Adam boulton doesn't interfere as much as the itv fella. There where times last week when 2 off them were about to have a good arguement but the presenter cut it short/brought in the 3 one and killed it off.

Its better than becoming the 51st state people , although being partly a German I may be biased . Also I support joining the Euro because then I will be able to pay cruel directly for his "services", errr I mean make him shut up about the differences in steam store pricing. Although our highstreet prices are so low they'd have to slash the Euro prices to compete.
