No, I don't remember anything about the legislation process itself? All I remember is they banned dangerous breeds and the police don't really care so we keep getting toddlers eaten in liverpool like every few months, its funny in a really macabre toddlers keep getting eaten way.

Don't remember it (1991!) but I did study it briefly and just grabbed my Law text book to remind myself. I can see the resemblance but it's not quite the same, from what I gather this seems like the result of the music industry (to use a broad term) pestering particular politicians to do something about all the pirates. Which in itself comes across rather disgustingly imo. |

If you wanna talk about the toxicology of various things- did you know nutmeg is poisonous? Or that arsenic compounds are used in the treatment of cancer? How about the fact that aspirin is incredibly toxic. Sorry for going off on one, but none of that stuff is exactly the next Thalidomide is it? |

Whats wrong with fluoridation? Prevents cavities and the only side effect is it makes some kids teeth look gross, looking gross is better than painfully rotting from the inside though. Anything is toxic in the wrong amount including water, the phrase toxic industrial waste is not a scientific one its something the daily mail shat out after having a bad curry the night before. Ninja'd. And thalidomide is perfectly safe (if you arn't pregnant) and in use to day under new names. It just has labels on saying for fucks sake don't give to pregnant women (And its effects only occur within a small window of the pregnancy). |
