Yeah. I remember on this training course we got these brilliant ruler/calculator things. They were rulers but they were integrated with a calculator.
At first the trainer said that they were just for the course but we all pleaded and so in the end she said we could keep them!

Victoria Line suspended.
You know every time something like that happens I make a huge song and dance about late I'm going to be and how incovenient.
It's not quite true. I can catch the overground and a bus.
But it does give me time to stop off and have a coffee at Liverpool Street Station.
After reducing my pay, my holiday leave (by 5 days, I've lost 8 since I started), my redundancy rights, my sick rights and increasing my hours, increasing my workload (one extra project plus we've taken over Housing management as they've got rid of all the Housing Officers) I feel it's just taking a little bit back.
I actually get into work quite mellow.

Currently enjoying the complexities of being seconded to a different team, enjoying so much that I put in an application to stay, then being seconded back part time because my original team have suddenly taken on this massive project and need every warm body available. Fun fun.
Train delays in the morning are made so much more fun for me by just extending my geek out time with my 3DS.

The Crewe-Manchester line was extremely reliable for me.
Was only late twice for lectures going into Manchester although coming back down to Cheshire was a different story on rainy nights. Think the only major mishap was on the way home when a girl tried to commit suicide over the Twemlow Viaduct which meant trains were terminated a good 40 minutes down the line at Alderley Edge instead.
Still, a good track record unlike your southern rubbish. :x

On my telecoms training course, passed the van driving test which was my main worry. The paperwork is absolutely insane, here's the stack just from this afternoon: http://imgur.com/6GoRsz7

Jetski covers for all! Dang that is a lot of paper :S too much paper in fact I tend to dish my paper work to the drones Had a sweet day yesterday I had to go round to my boss's house and fix his shower and hallway lights and swap some light switches round pretty standard stuff. Got there about 11am and finished at 2pm and got payed for the whole day ^^ and now I learn the boss is away for 3 weeks and I have been put in charge :S bad times

Went indoor climbing this evening at a place just outside Brighton. Been ages since I've done it so my hands are raw now. Typing hurts D:
