I want my money back though! Only thing I'll pay for is the cleaning it (since it does look perdy now), but aside from that, they havent fixed anything. Fairly sure they have a no fix no fee policy though.
Gonna give it one more chance

mama out of interest how much did they charge you? And tbh dude how much are they going to charge for a fix if they actually manage one? I mean a new mobo is only what £150? Its probably not worth getting it fixed in the long run especailly if they are charging £50+

£25 for the clean, £52.99 for a health check and "fix" -.- Rip off, I know, however I was desperate and fed up of this machine. I suspected it was a motherboard problem, but I wasnt sure and I didnt want to buy one and find I've wasted any more money on this piece of shit

If you can get a free re-test/fix take it, otherwise I'd just get a new mobo. Less ballache all round.

I expect to get my £52.99 back tbh, I'll be a little miffed if they wont give it back, that way I can afford a new mobo

That PC repair shop is a bargain compared to the one I did work experience at. They used to charge £75 per hour.

This of course begs the question: Did your work experience place actually fix things?

To be fair, Played some of my other games that normally crash constantly, both CTD's and BSOD and got nothing which is very encouraging as well as havent had any further BSODs. Who know's, perhaps that first one was just a fluke *queue BSOD in 5...4...3...*

Blegh, Jobhunting Hate it when firms have their own custom application forms rather than just letting you send in your CV / Covering letter.
I'm not able to claim Jobseekers either in the interim because i've got premium bonds (parents had used their own allowance so gave me the money to buy them in proxy)

Having a job sucks anyway, apart from the financial benefit of course.

I think then, that those bonds are still your parents? You should sue them for lost jobseekers allowance immediately

The financial benefits of having a job are extremely low once you leave home.
