I can instruct asnyone on how to farm achievs on there own private server with bots etc if enough people ask and the admins agree il put up an instruction set.

I loaded up tr_walkway, did "sv_cheats 0" then "retry" and when the server reloaded it still had sv_cheats 1...

Ah lol, you make a level 3 then switch to gunslinger and pick it up and place it again. In fairness though this is hardly game breaking, the minisentry does reduced damage the whole point of it is quick setup, even if it does end up a quick building level 3, he still paid the full 535 metal to get a level 3, and its now doing 50% damage and during setup it has to progress through all the upgrade animations. Sneaking around with your normal level 3 and placing that in surprise corridors is on the same level as this, because hes given up the core cheap/quick build for carrying a much weaker lvl 3 sentry that only sets up slightly faster. |

hmm those are correct might just be an issue with tr walkway as valbve are very aware of that map. ill have to do some testing |

Ok, happy things are happening.
Yes you can carry a sentry gun or a dispenser through a teleporter. So I would imagin that you can also take teleporters through a team mate's teleporter.
There is something slightly pervers in building a level 3 sentry out side of spawn and then carrying it to where you want it.
As for build your own server thing. Very simple. Download the dedicated server from the tools section. Set it running with a bot friendly map. Use it's console to "tf_bot_add [number of bots]". Then load up TF2, look for LAN games and have some fun. I got a couple of the easy achievments last night.
