I had burnout revenge on the PS2 until this dipshit I used to live with stole it from me and took it down cash converters.
your better off this way, it was a terrible terrible game It was a good game, if not incredibly frustrating and spent half the time loading.

The worst part of that game was stacking within the first 10 seconds in that "fuck up as much shit as you can" mode and having to wait 20mins for it to reload. I also played Mario Kart 64 a hell of a lot until Captain Sportsman made himself known and stopped battle mode being fun .

I finally got round to downloading Dirt2. Alas its 11 CDs worth compressed and my USB has enough space for 10 CDs so won't be playing it tonight but if anyone wants laggy races with me later in the week...

Been playing Dirt2 tonight, it does a good job at getting me excited about cars and I hate cars. Nice soundtrack, its pretty, and decent to drive. I'm kinda annoyied they took out persistent damage but driving with WASD is tricky anyway. I'm probably still a bit noob to race anyone yet but who has Dirt2. And haha, the other drivers keep bitching because I keep PITing them. GTA driving school ftw!

Do you mean damage that is persistant across races or just during the race? Cos you can change it between full and visual only.

in dirt1 it was persistant across your career, so you had to spend cash fixing cars. Now you just kinda swim in cash. I understand how some people didn't like it but they made damage optional in races so why not in the campaign too.

Yeah, it was like that in Colin Macrae rally 2.0, epic game. But tbh if i have to earn/spend money in game i'd rather spend it on new cars than repairs.

"Playing games where shit blows up is clearly the reason Sir Clive Sinclair invented the first Turing Machine in 1857." Tbh. I'm more looking forward to blur, but I'm keeping both on my radar!

I play a race simulator called rFactor, and i raced in a league for 3/4 years in which i was champion twice. I much prefer racing games which try and go for realistic gameplay which is why i'm not a great fan of Grid and those games. Dirt 1 was ok but still too game like and not sim like.

I'd be up for some dirt2 multiplayer if I could stop the thing bloody crashing, everytime I go over the finish line my display driver crashes. Tried it with stock clocks and lowest settings but it still does it.

Is it crashing when you play multiplayer, or in singleplayer? I get crashes fairly regularly in SP, but I've never had one in MP so far.
